The overall feeling felt in this area is an odd comfort; It feels soothing and familiar, yet arid and hot. The discomfort of the heat is dulled down by the nearby sound of rushing water, the source being the near-end product of Zora's River, the last point being Lake Hylia. Those that have seen both places feel relaxed by the sound of the river. Ahead along the path is a shallow pond teeming with fish, the depth being a mere wading pool for most people. Over it is a log, cut in half to serve as some sort of primitive bridge, and it looks strong enough to support both a man and a horse together, providing the horse would wish to cross. Beyond it lies merely a flat, barren area with a bridge leading across the canyon neck. At the bottom of this canyon is the river, slowly etching down into the rock below.
